OIT provides contract review for all IT contracts at Brown for administrative, academic, and research purposes. Contract review includes assessing a security level if there is Brown data involved.
Based on the risk level, OIT will follow up by conducting detailed security reviews, collecting accessibility information, ensuring compliance with export controls, reviewing insurance language, and providing appropriate privacy controls.

Note: All software/services accepting payment must comply with University Policy on Accepting and Handling Payment Cards to Conduct University Business and be approved by the University Commerce Committee.
