    Why Data Privacy Day?

Privacy is important year-round, but this event is observed internationally each year on January 28th to promote awareness about the many ways personal information is collected, stored, used, and shared.

It is also a good reminder at the beginning of each new year to learn more about privacy and how to protect your data as well as that of others. The Information Security Group (ISG) has prepared a page of videos, online events and other resources to assist you.

Does your research require IT services such as high performance computing, data storage, or visualization?

We are working on a directory of research IT services and are looking for members of the Brown community to complete an online exercise to help us categorize these services.

The exercise will take approximately ten minutes and will be available through Friday, December 9th.
