Health Education Survey

Phish Bowl Alerts

The following email might be a legitimate survey solicitation, but is suspicious because it has none of the hallmarks reassuring genuineness, such as institutional branding with complete contact information, an email sent from the identified organization rather than a personal Gmail address, a pointer to a website providing more background on the study, or a direct email instead of a blind copy.

Hello! I’m a graduate student studying sexual health education in the US education system! I created my sample from college directories and mailing lists and all responses are confidential. More information is also available, just ask me!

Responses will be used to inform and improve public health messaging at universities in the US, so no data will be published publicly. All responses are entered into a secure spreadsheet without names or identifiers and the email account will be deleted!
