Phish Bowl Alerts
These fake notifications, supposedly from the Brown Help Desk (though one clearly is not from Brown), includes many suspicious characteristics: errors in grammar and punctuation, no contact information provided, and links that when hovered over directs the reader to a not-quite-right, non-Brown address. Most importantly, OIT would use official channels, such as Today@Brown, and provide ample lead time when notifying the Brown community of an important change like this.
