A reminder that you need to be wary of scam communications that can arrive in ways other than email, such as by phone, in-person or text, the latter reported here last December (Phishing by Text Message). Today's post is another example of the can-you-do-me-a-quick-favor? scam that usually asks you to purchase gift cards or, as in the following, something even simpler for the recipient that only requires a few clicks: a Zelle transfer.
