  1. Who is Brenna Cage? A quick check of the directory draws a blank.
  2. Why is someone from the Provost's Office using a Gmail account? And why "sparks"?
  3. Typo in SUBJECT (should be "ASSISTANT" and not "ASISSTANT").
  4. Blank TO field.
  5. What does the Department of Biology have to do with COVID019 Support?
  6. Seems a little later to ask for work in the winter.
  7. Numerous formatting errors, including irregularities in spacing and capitalization.
  8. Red Flags: asking you to provide personal information and to text it (and give them your phone number).
  9. In this case, we removed the phone number, but note that it wasn't a Brown business exchange (863), nor even a 401 number.
  10. The signature did not provide any useful contact information, such as a legitimate phone number or address, though it would be easy to grab these details from Brown's website and create a reasonable facsimile.
  11. It's very similar to numerous other offers of student employment found here in the Phish Bowl.
