Norton fake invoices

Phish Bowl Alerts

These phony Norton invoices are sent from different email addresses and a variety of subject lines, such as Purchase Invoice Receipt #642531 or the example below. Watch out for suspicious (non-company) sender addresses and badly formatted and/or spelled messages, especially if they push your "gotta-respond-now" button.

The below example presents the recipient with a bill for almost $300, offering a quick fix by calling the provided button. Doing so could lead to handing over your credit card information in an attempt to rectify the fake bill.
