A phishing email is circulating within our community, falsely claiming to be from Brown University's "Health Care Center". The email falsely claims to address a COVID-19 variant case within the university staff, urging recipients to click on a link for more information and to participate in contact tracing efforts. Notice the critical red flags - the sender's domain is not brown.edu, and there is a lack of consistency between the sender's name and email address.
