"1 new notification" phishing attempts from non-Brown email adresses

Phish Bowl Alerts

Similar to the Fraudulent "BrownAlert" notice recently posted, see below for another notification-based phishing attempt sent from a non-Brown email address. The email prompts recipients to click on a link for a new notification; however, the sender's email domain is not brown.edu and is not associated with any of our verified partners, and utilizes extremely vague and generic language. If you have received this email, it is a verified phishing attempt and should not be interacted with. Remember, legitimate Brown University notifications will come from verified brown.edu email addresses, and you should always verify the sender's identity before responding or clicking on links in unexpected emails.
