Two-Step Verification for Office 365

As of today, Brown has turned on Two-Step Verification for access to Office 365, and a few other services that use Active Directory Federated Services (ADFS) as their authentication method.

Use of Two-Step Verification provides better security for all, as it ensures that people accessing the service have another way of proving their identity.

For users of Office 365, this means that as you log into the portal at https://office365.brown.edu, you’ll be prompted to verify your identity by providing a second step of authentication just as when you log into Brown services with single sign on.
