Why Data Privacy Day?

Privacy is important year-round, but this event is observed internationally each year on January 28th to promote awareness about the many ways personal information is collected, stored, used, and shared.

It is also a good reminder at the beginning of each new year to learn more about privacy and how to protect your data as well as that of others.
