Bogus Subscription Invoice

Phish Bowl Alerts

A straightforward example of a basic phishing attempt. The sender's name is obviously fake (Harryer Hickses), the recipient is addressed ambiguously (“Hey Client”), the message’s formatting is poor, and there is no name or company included in the sign off. Though this may be a ham-fisted attempt at social engineering, it serves as an excellent example of basic red flags to remain aware of.

A fraudulent message alleging to have attached an invoice for a subscription service the recipient has paid for.
