Dropbox.com accounts are now available for members of the Brown community.
We heard many of you like using Dropbox, so we brought it to Brown. By creating an account on the Brown team, you can benefit from Dropbox business features including an increased quota and more robust backups.
Instructions for creating your Brown team account are at brown.edu/go/dropboxhelp.
Already have an account with your Brown email address? In step 3 of the instructions, we recommend choosing “keep my account personal” to preserve your account should you leave Brown. For example, if you are a student with a 15gb quota on a free account, and you transfer that account to a personal email address during the setup process, you’ll still have a free account with a 15gb quota after graduation.
New to Dropbox?
Dropbox is a popular file storage and sharing service. What sets it apart from other file storage services? In short, it's especially easy to use across multiple devices such as computers, smartphones, and tablets. On a computer, the Dropbox application creates a folder into which you can drag or save files; it appears just like other folders on your computer, except the files are synced to your other devices.
