This issue is resolved.
A small number of Brown users are reporting issues connecting to the Brown secure wifi network. We have identified the problem, but due to dependencies in multiple systems, we are planning our resolution process carefully.
For the moment, if you have trouble connecting to Brown wifi, then please try to use Brown-Guest wifi as a workaround. If you then need to connect to secured services, you can additionally connect to the VPN, but this may not be necessary for most users.
