STUDENT RELIEF FUND PROGRAM (HEERF)

Don't get hooked by an offer of being shortlisted as a beneficiary for the Student Relief Fund Program. Rather than providing assistance, they attempt to collect personal information, such as social security number and bank account number, with a promise a $750 refund. Never provide this kind of information via email, text or phone when solicited.

You can read more about Brown and the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund III (HEERF III) at this FAQ from the Bursar's office.

Following is an example of the first step in the process to lure you into providing your personal details.
